The Week 14 Wiki, as of this moment, is less than a month old, and we already have 19 entire pages that contain a great amount of information pertaining to events, locations, and characters in the Week 14 series. As the Wiki continues to grow and gain more editors, the number of pages will increase and the level of detail will become even more impeccable.
The Week 14 Wiki is aspiring for, what Wikia calls, a "Spotlight". A Spotlight is a Wikia recognition of a certain Wiki and the placement of an ad for said Wiki on the sides of Wikia pages on all Wikis. The Week 14 Wiki's editors know that if we achieve a Spotlight recognition, Week 14 will become more popular as more people become interested in the Week 14 series.
The following are some of the points the Week 14 Wiki still needs to check off in order to obtain a Spotlight for the Wiki:
- The Wiki should have at least 200 content pages, not counting stubs. Stub articles should make up no more than 1/5th of all pages on the Wiki.
- The main page of the Wiki should have at least one picture, and clear links to the most important content. It should also be unprotected unless there is a strong history of vandalism.
- The Wiki should have a clear category structure to help readers navigate around the site. Every content page should be in a category.
- The Wiki should be using the Wikia welcome tool, signed by admins – (MediaWiki:Welcome-user should say @latest, @sysop or the name of an admin.)
But we cannot achieve a Spotlight for the Week 14 Wiki without completing these necessary points. Our current editors will continue to create and edit pages in our attempt to exceed 200 non-stub pages, and we are hoping that newer editors will join the Wiki and help our efforts.
With a little bit of help from everyone, the Week 14 Wiki will thrive and one day achieve the Spotlight recognition we hope to get!
